The Fall concert is coming up sooner than you think! This year, we’re going with a theme of Love & Heartbreak. The set list is jam-packed with Effusion classics and never-before-heard arrangements – which may or may not include Beyoncé…

Save the date: It all goes down the night of November 21 at Cafe Campus, just 5 days after the Aloe Blacc show! Stay tuned for more event details and for info on how to buy (or win) your tickets.

Effusion x Aloe Blacc

Big news! Effusion is set to open for none other than Aloe Blacc next month at Le Belmont, alongside Grand Scheme and Maya Jupiter. Not only that, but the show comes just a few days before our big Fall concert! It’s gonna be a big week.

For those who don’t know, soul singer and sometime-rapper Aloe has been blowing up with his breakout single, “I Need A Dollar”, known to some as the theme to HBO’s How To Make It in America.

Facebook event here. Mark those calendars!

International Women’s Forum 2010

This year, the International Women’s Forum held their annual, three-day World Leadership Conference in Montreal. We had the honour of performing throughout the opening reception downtown at Le Windsor on Wednesday, October 13. Before a backdrop of slides representing the conference’s theme of Water, Wealth, & Power, we sang three sets of wide-ranging songs for “the world’s leading architects, advocates, catalysts, and pioneers of change who are re-drawing the map for how we’ll live, work, eat, drink and maintain healthy, productive, peaceful and prosperous communities in this new reality.”
