The group is always changing. Every fall, at the beginning of each new school year, we audition hundreds of McGill students to find amazing individuals to add to our sound. - How do you spend your time outside Effusion and School? I’m the Creative Marketing Manager (and Sponsorship Coordinator) for SSMU and the Publicity Director for TNC Theatre. I’m currently co-directing a folk opera that I co-wrote called The Hazards of Love. I also play in, and write music for, an indie folk band called The Howling Gales. - Study? I’m in the Education department, with a concentration in Secondary English
- How do you spend your time outside Effusion and School? A lot of sports. Ultimate frisbee, basketball, snowboarding. I also pursue solo music, acoustic guitar, singing and rapping. I also have a social life, believe or not.
- What is currently on repeat in your iTunes: Ohhhh boy… depends on the time of day. Acoustic James Taylor, Bon Iver, Mumford and Sons in the morning. Hip Hope and R&B during the day- J. Cole, The Pharcyde, De La Soul, John Legend, D’angelo, Method Man. Dubstep and electro before going out, Instrumental Jazz when doing homework.

- Ideal date in Montreal? Hang out at Tam Tams for the afternoon, walk up the mountain (pre-winter, obviously), Schwartz’s for dinner. Live music at a bar, late night drunken two dollar chow mein.
