Is there anywhere you would rather be. Come help spread the A Cappella Love. "An A Cappella Show Case at Gerts on Saturday JANUARY 21st! The proceeds from this showcase will be put towards the fight against ovarian cancer and malaria! Featuring: TONAL ECSTASY A Cappella, SOULSTICE A Cappella, EFFUSION A Cappella and a visiting group from Queens University TRILLERS A Cappella. Show starts at 7pm and cover is a minimum donation of $3 at the door." TX Thanks to TX for organizing such a sensational celebration of the music we love. |

After a beautiful retreat at Hannah’s farm in Picton, ON last weekend, we’ve got great pictures of this year’s class of NEWBIES so it is our pleasure to finally announce their names to the world.

Callbacks will be held tomorrow, Tuesday, Sep 20th beginning at 8pm. Please meet us in the lobby of the McGill Music Building (555 Sherbrooke) at 8:00 sharp – It is not necessary to have anything prepared. Please be sure to e-mail info.effusion@gmail.com today to confirm that you are able to join us!
1. Show up for your audition at 3589 Lorne Avenue, Apartment 1. Please arrive 5-10 minutes early.
2. Bring your smile and 1 minute of a prepared song of your choice, whatever you love we want to hear. We may also ask you to sing some scales or do some sight-reading.
3. If a conflict arises, you are running late, or if you have other questions or problems call Rowan at 514-519-1205.
4. Have fun with it! Good luck, and see you there. We can’t wait to meet you.
